JL005 - Key Learning (2018+)

The JL005 special function allows key programming for ALL Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles produced between 2018 and 2020, completely by OBDII. This is an extremely useful tool, as the RFA Data Flash can not be read for these vehicles, therefore cannot be done by dump.

Main functionalities:

• Spare key programming
• ALL KEYS LOST
• Remote control and keyless programming are part of the procedure, so no extra steps are required

Supported vehicles:

• JLR vehicles equipped with JPLA 2018-2020 RFA

For cars after 2018 you need to have connection to the internal CAN-BUS using the CB012. The connection is described in the Abrites Diagnostics for Jaguar/ Land Rover User Manual. Please note that only TA66 (433 MHz)/ TA67 (315MHz) keys can be used for the programming procedure.
It works as a standalone function (no additional licenses required) but requires an AVDI, PROTAG programmer and an active AMS subscription to operate.
