COPY CODE (LEARNING A REMOTE FROM A REMOTE)

In the SMILO radio system, the code can be 'copied' from the remote to the remote, and to be literal you can remotely enter the radio in the gateway into the programming mode, because the radio remembers authorized remotes, not the remote remembers the gate. To program the remote control, you should approach the gate at a distance of 2-3 meters and do the following:

PROCEDURE COPY REMOTE:

• 1. On the new remote control you press any button for 5-6 seconds and then release it (the same radio in the gateway enters the programming mode).

• 2. In OLD (ie already operating remote) you press 3 times every second any button (thanks to this the radio knows that you already have a remote control so no outsider will be able to add a remote control to your gateway. At this point the gate should not react. If the gateway starts it will mean that point 1 was not executed properly. Stop the procedure, wait 15 seconds and try again.

• 3. Finally, confirm the fact that you are programming the remote control by pressing any button for 1 second.

Now the new remote should already be working. Copying the remote control is 1: 1, meaning it does not matter which of the buttons you use for copying, the remote control will have the same gateways programmed on the same 'old' buttons. If you have several gates you may find that the remote does not remember all the time - repeat the procedure while the remote control is not automatically programmed.

WRITE DIRECTLY TO RADIO-RECEIVER

If you do not have any SMILO remote control (eg all have been destroyed) you can direct the code directly to the radio. For SMILO radio system are available 2 types of radio - SMXIS radio module and universal SMX2 receiver. In both cases, there is a programming button on the receiver. To program the remote control, do the following:

PASSING THE REMOTE FOR THE RECEIVER (FIRST CHANNEL):

1. Press once (quick click) button on the receiver. The flash starts blinking in 1 flash, pause, 1 flash, pause, etc. A single flash means that the remote control will be assigned to the first channel of the receiver (usually it controls the device).

2. Press and hold the remote control button for 5-6 seconds to use the device.

3. The radio should confirm the three flashes of the LEDs to accept the code.

At this point the remote control is programmed but the receiver remains in learning mode. You can now add more remote controls by pressing and holding the button on the next remote control for 5-6 seconds. If you do not have more remotes wait 10-15 seconds until the LED stops blinking. Then the receiver's programming mode will be turned off automatically.

If the remote is to be programmed on another output (channel) of the radio at the beginning of programming, press the button repeatedly on the receiver so that the number of clicks corresponds to the output number, eg 2 channel programming will look like this:

PASSING THE REMOTE FOR THE RECEIVER (SECOUND CHANNEL):

1. Press the button 2 times quickly (2 x quick click) on the receiver. The LED flashes in a series of 2 flashes, a pause, 2 flashes, a pause, and so on. The number of flashes quickly flashes to which channel the remote control will be assigned.

2. Press and hold the remote control button for 5-6 seconds to use the device. 3. The radio should confirm the three flashes of the LEDs to accept the code.

Wait 10-15 seconds until the radio diode goes off - then the remote should already be working.
